The 9 day workshop is to emancipate the dynamic and creative energy within you. It is to experiment, to empower and to explore the primary elements in and around us. During the workshop cooperative games, dances as well as games and rituals around the elements will help us to remember the strong connection within us and the materials.
WHAT ARE WE BUİLDİNG?
“TOPINAK”
Temple: A building devoted to the worship, or regarded as the dwelling place, of a god or gods or other objects of religious reverence.
We intend to build a temple for reverence of the elements, a dynamic space where one disconnects and yet connects with inner and outer self. The shelter will be built with earth and will open avenues to indulge our senses with individual elements of space, air, fire, water and earth.
This is a call to come together with intense focus to build a space for meditation, prayer, chants or which ever way one wants to meet with the source of life within. It will serve as a tool for growth and oneness of the community.
To manifest this temple we would be using Hyperadobe/ Earthbag construction. The design of the building will be sensitive to climate, culture and ecologic values that the land emanates. Come, let’s join together to learn, to host and to heal by shaping earth.
The workshop is open to all who are enthusiastic and young by heart. No prior experiences are required.

WHO İS OBARUHU ?
Obaruhu is composed of two words Oba + Ruhu
” Oba ” in tengri means tents / temporary shelter of a nomadic community living, travelling and sharing their life together and “Ruhu” means the spirit.
Obaruhu represents the spirit of the ever lively nomad tribe that keeps moving from one place to another in order to maintain the balance in nature outside and inside oneself.
